HEALTH AND SAFETY

Health and Safety is at the very core of our company and forms the foundation of everything we undertake. The heading encompasses a whole array of systems and procedures to ensure any person who is working on, part of, or attending an event Pearl are involved in is completely safe at all times. We achieve this by adhering to our specifically written, health, safety, method, risk assessment and procedure policies. Pearl AV engages the services of a fully qualified consultant in this field to ensure  that all of our procedures are up to date.
When booking an event in audio, visual, or lighting, there are some specific safety elements that must be considered:

• General Health & Safety Policies from your supplier
• Specific method and risk assessment policies for your event
• Correct insurance policies covering your event and sufficient for specific venues
• PAT test(Portable Appliance Test) - this is required by law and should include all equipment and cabling being supplied.
• Fire retardant safety- all staging, backdrops, and soft furnishings should carry current fire safety certificates.
